About

We are currently serving the Lord in Day and Night Prayer primarily because Jesus is coming soon and is worthy of constant adoration. Secondarily, we are serving in order that we might prepare ourselves, with others, to raise up boys and girls, men and women, for the last great missionary movement in history. This movement will thrust authentic and powerful witnesses of Jesus into every sphere of society throughout every nation on earth.
We have lost the proclamation of the Apostolic gospel of the first century. The message of the apostles is summarized in Ephesians 1 and it is found in the correct understanding of the mystery of Christ. Sadly, we proclaim messages that are more man centered and more self help oriented rather than proclaiming the majesty and mystery of God’s Son. This causes believers to live lives of confusion. They profess Jesus and yet have no conception of His present majesty or the fact that He is soon coming to radically change the condition of the entire earth, judging every manner of wickedness and restoring creation.
Daniel of old was taken from his home country and placed in a foreign culture, but he was able to excel. He stayed in personal relationship with God and at the same time was so excellent in what he did that pagan kings kept him at the top of their administrations. Where are the children like this that can survive the most horrific circumstance and yet be brilliant and shining lights in a dark era of history? Daniel so kept Himself before God that he was given unusual prophetic revelations and was described as “highly favored” by God even though he was in a foreign culture and had hardly anyone around him to encourage him.
It should be obvious to most people that we are in a crisis hour. Everywhere you look there are crises. There are economic crises, social crises, political crises, and the list continues. We contend that the most serious crisis in our day is a religious one. Christians are no longer a burning and a shining light challenging culture on every level with the very real presence of God in their midst. We believe that God is ready to change this.
Our family has a burden to see authentic men and women raised up that can both demonstrate and declare the gospel in a crisis hour. We believe that day and night prayer is the incubator that produces the kind of brokenness, humility, authenticity, and knowledge of God that is required for the days ahead. As a consequence, We are currently serving at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO.
We are originally from the northwest Atlanta area and in the longer term, we plan to return to the greater Atlanta area to see the place of prayer raised up in the area and authentic messengers of the gospel sent out to proclaim the message of Jesus, prepare the church, and minister to the poor.
Along with others, we are also making concrete plans to raise up an academy for children that will open in fall 2010. This academy will raise up children in the disciplines of prayer, fasting, and worship while developing their intellect to its maximum capacity. Out of this place God is going to raise up a new generation of children that will be the leading scientists, business men, politicians, missionaries, preachers, and leaders of our time. They will be raised up in a school environment that involves the parent closely and makes sure this world changing education is affordable to all regardless of their family’s economic situation. We also expect to be able to raise up an orphanage that under privileged children may have the opportunity to be loved, receive an excellent education, and change the world. Hopefully you can see that although our work is in America, it is very much a missionary work among our own people. Not only will this work reach many, it will also send out many who will go forth as missionaries and touch others in spiritual and humanitarian ways. A whole new missions movement is being raised up across the globe and training environments birthed in night and day prayer are the greenhouse for raising up those who will lead this great missions thrust.
The International House of Prayer operates their organization according to a missions model. This means that all staff members must raise their own support. For that reason we need individuals and organizations who understand the great needs in this day and age and are willing to support us as missionaries in this hour. If you feel a burden for the state of the church, the nation, and our children, please consider supporting missionaries in the house of prayer, whether our family or another.
